How Can You Help?
The total project cost is expected to exceed $100,000. Thanks to strong early support, we’ve already secured in-kind contributions and are pursuing grant funding. Now, we’re launching a community campaign to raise $25,000 to get this project underway.
If you’re able to contribute, we’d be grateful for your support. Every dollar brings us closer to making this trail a reality.
Let’s make it happen, Pender.
Let's Build: Einars Hill Trail
We’re excited to announce a major new project MAP is taking on this summer: the Einars Hill Trail.
This notoriously difficult stretch for pedestrians has been a long-standing concern in our community—and we’re proud to say we now have a plan to fix it. Thanks to the Davies and Moir families for their support in building this trail across their land.
With the support of Pender families, local operators, and community organizations, we’re moving forward with a thoughtfully designed trail, similar in spirit to the Schooner Way–School Trail. This project will improve safety, accessibility, and enjoyment for everyone who uses this route.
We’re committed to doing this the right way – by employing local contractors, sourcing local rock wherever possible, and building something that will serve Penderites for generations.
